Program "Pemantapan Jiwa Rabbani"

Assalamu'alaikum,

ABIM Negeri Sembilan akan menganjurkan Program `Pemantapan Jiwa Rabbani` dan akan dilaksanakan sepenuhnya oleh Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia (ABIM), Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus. Keterangan mengenai Program ini adalah seperti berikut:

Tarikh: 25 November 2010 bersamaan 18 Zulhijjah 1431 (Khamis)

Tempat: Restoren Sri Aden, Taman Warisan Puteri, Seremban,

Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus.

Jam: 8.00 pagi hingga 5.30 petang

Kepada penuntut-penuntut yang berminat untuk mengikuti program ini hendaklah berpakaian kemas dan dipersilakan untuk berkumpul di Station KTM Seremban, Jam 7.30 hingga 8.00 pagi. Bagi keterangan lanjut, sila hubungi Aizat (010-2079960) atau e-mel kepada aizat.lutfi@gmail.com.

Titian Budaya Brunei-Malaysia

Majlis Pembukaan Rasmi dan Malam Gala Titian Budaya Brunei Darussalam - Malaysia anjuran Kementerian Penerangan Komunikasi dan Kebudayaan, Malaysia bersama Kementerian Kebudayaan Belia dan Sukan, Brunei Darussalam, akan diadakan seperti berikut:

Tempat: Panggung Sari, Istana Budaya, Kuala Lumpur
Jam: 8.00 malam

Newly Appointed Attache of Education and Culture

Assalamu'alaikum.

We are sorry for the lack of update.

A little wrap up here though, as you might have read through messages in our facebook regarding the proposed event, Majlis Ramah Mesra Hari Raya Bersama BSC 2010, the council have concluded to cancel the event due to certain unavoidable circumstances. On behalf of the council, I really apologise for the disappointment and the inconvenience. We hope that you had a very pleasant Hari Raya this year! =D

As you might have heard, there is a newly appointed Attache of Education and Culture at the High Commission of Negara Brunei Darussalam. I hereby forward the message from Cikgu Haji Ali Husaini, our previous Attache, to all members:

[Article] Kem Ihya Ramadhan

Assalamu'alaikum Warahmatullah,

Syukur ke hadrat Allah, semoga semua ahli organisasi ini berada dalam keadaan sihat wal'afiat dan beroleh shafaat pada malam ini, malam ke-20 Ramadan 1431 Hijrah.

Alhamdulillah, salah satu program pertama yang dianjurkan oleh Majlis Pelajar Brunei (BSC), Kem Ihya Ramadhan telah pun diadakan dengan jayanya pada 28 dan 29 Ogos 2010 yang lalu, di Masjid Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia.

Pihak Majlis Pelajar Brunei ingin sebulat suara mengucapkan setinggi-tinggi penghargaan dan terima kasih kepada semua pihak yang terlibat dalam menjayakan program Kem Ihya Ramadhan ini, samada secara langsung ataupun tidak.

Jutaan terima kasih diucapkan terutama sekali kepada para peserta dan juga ahli-jawatankuasa yang ditugaskan untuk kem ini, ustaz-ustaz penceramah, pihak Masjid Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah UIAM, katering Mahallah Ali UIAM dan semua penaja-penaja persendirian. Mudah-mudahan penyertaan anda dan sumbangan yang diberikan akan mendapat manfaat dan dibalas dengan ganjaran yang besar oleh Allah Ta'ala.

International Festival UTM

Assalmu'alaikum and good friday,

A Brunei representative from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) has informed us that their university will be holding an International Festival and would like to invite all BSC members to the event:

International Festival UTM
Date: 4th - 7th October 2010
Venue: Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Skudai, Johor

The following are the activities offered:

• Booth Exhibition
• Food Festival
• Cultural Night (updated as of 01/09/10)

As for the Cultural Night event, Brunei representative has claimed that they are lack of manpower (since there are currently only four students from Brunei in UTM, Skudai Johor), thus Brunei participation for this will be suspended. Unless, you and your friends have the attire and the dance routine fixed and confirmed because invitation outside UTM are allowed, even importing other countrymen/women for help.

Accommodation is provided in Scholars Inn since budget is given. An apartment with four/three rooms with heater and air-conditioner/fan depending on your needs. Early bookings are needed. Transportation inside the UTM is available. (updated as of 01/09/10)

BSC Logo Design Competition

Assalmu'alaikum all,


The first Brunei Student Council session 2010/2011 has recently finalised BSC's motto or slogan. So now, it is time for the council to have its own logo. BSC is holding a Logo Design Competition, open to all members. So stand a chance to win it!!


The logo design to be submitted shall be:

• based on the motto, "Unity towards Excellence" or "Bersatu menuju Kecemerlangan"
  
• supporting the vision and mission of the Brunei Student Council
  
• included with the description of the logo you created (either in English or Malay)
  

Submit your final design before 24th September 2010 (updated as of 26th August 2010) to our email address. Image should be in .jpeg format and RGB colour mode, however, we acquire you to keep the layered image (e.g. .psd format) to yourselves first for future reference and use.

Please also include your name, passport number, contact number and name of institution.

The winner will be chosen based on the most voted logo design by the members in a later time. He/she will receive credits and consolation prize.

Any inquiries, do not hesitate to ask Ani Ruzana or any of the committees in the council. We will be delighted to see many participants in this competition! =D

Bagi menyemarakkan lagi bulan Ramadan yang mubarak ini, pihak Majlis Pelajar Brunei (Brunei Student Council ) akan mengadakan 'Kem Ihya Ramadhan' seperti berikut:
